How many helpers do I need?

JL Consulting's team, having completed well over 100+ moves, is physically geared to provide an efficient & safe moving experience to all our customers. From heavy appliances to more boxes than a person could count, our team is quite capable of moving all of your belongings.

Should you rather hire one of us and assist, or have people present to assist, we recommend considering the following:

• Boxes typically weigh between 20 - 75 lbs & furniture can weigh between 50 - 250+ lbs. A helper should be comfortable with these weight ranges to minimize risk of property damage or personal injury.

• Many times, furniture won't fit through doors/around corners without being flipped/repositioned as needed. A helper should be comfortable managing the weight of furniture while also delicately maneuvering it to avoid scratching/denting walls.

• Packing a truck properly is a critical part of a successful move. Our team has a wealth of experience packing trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring the least amount of risk to your belongings while maximizing space.
